Well, I had a lot of fun today! I just returned from part one of a two-part workshop on creating greeting cards. The instructor taught us this great printmaking technique where you carve into styrofoam by drawing on it with a pen. Ink it up, print it, and you’re done! I did the print in two colors then used pastels to add a little interest. No fuss. No mess.

have you tried gum-eraser? you can also get it in plates (boards?), very good for lasting print-fun

Thanks Shirley and Claus! Claus, I’ve tried the gum-eraser blocks which are fun as well. But I found that the styrofoam is so quick and not messy–no shavings left behind. It’s a perfect for working in my little house (which is already messy
